Rob has been in several CEO positions in industrial and life science markets. Besides he holds positions as board advisor, supervisory board member, owner, participant, and investor. This applies to listed companies, small & medium sized businesses, and family businesses. Rob has a special interest in (hi-)tech environments.

Rob has established several companies and guides them into profitable growth.

He has distinguishing leadership and expertise in building professional management teams and successfully transforming companies.

Rob is specialised in deal making (M&A, JV, buy-out), and companies in distress, being in (urgent) need for professionalisation, change, innovation, accelerating growth, or even a turnaround.

He likes complex situations where he can leverage his strategic and financial, commercial and technical expertise. Rob is able to forge solid relationships with partners and build consensus across multiple organisational levels. Proficient in working with and selling in to diverse cultures; experienced in Europe, North & South America, and Asia.

Rob holds degrees in business economics & finance, technical science, and executive strategic management.
